Dear Lamar CISD Families and Staff,  

The enrollment application process is now open for Lamar CISD’s newest offering, the recently announced Bright Futures Academy at Beasley Elementary, an innovative charter school program launching this fall to meet the unique needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). 

To apply for admission to this new school of choice campus, families can access the online enrollment application HERE. The form is available from February 2, 2026, to March 20, 2026.  

The brand-new program, a partnership between Lamar CISD and Lamar Legacy Partners, will welcome students from Early Childhood Education (3Y) through 2nd Grade beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. 

As part of an ongoing district-wide initiative to provide spaces where every student can learn and thrive, Bright Futures Academy will offer highly supportive learning environments and a specialized approach that blends traditional academics, therapy, and behavior supports to meet the needs of each student. 

An initial informational session for parents and guardians was held on Thursday, Jan. 29, with three more opportunities currently scheduled for interested families to learn more. See below for upcoming meeting times.
